Verses such as Colossians 3:2 instruct us to “set [our] minds on things above, not on earthly things”, to fix our eyes on Christ who is seated at the right hand of God in heaven. These are a great reminder that Christ has finished his work on earth and we can be assured that our salvation is secure. But do we sometimes lose sight of our calling here on earth to tell the world that repentance and forgiveness are available to all, today.
